CAR BOMB: More Brooklyn Concert Footage Posted Online

April 11, 2008

MetalKult.com has just posted three live videos from Long Island, New York's tech-metal group CAR BOMB.

The footage was captured on February 10, 2008, when the up-and-coming Relapse Records act opened for HIGH ON FIRE at Brooklyn's Club Europa.

That night the progressive metal quartet delivered punishing versions of "M6", "Cielo Drive" and "Best Intentions" from its 2007 Relapse debut, "Centralia". Also available on MetalKult.com are live videos of label mates HIGH ON FIRE performing "Blessed Black Wings", "Nemesis" and "Turk" from that same show.

CAR BOMB is currently writing material for its sophomore record, tentatively due later this year. MetalSucks.net recently had the chance to sit down with bassist Jon Modell and drummer Elliot Hoffman mere hours after they finished one such writing session to get a quick update on how it's going.

CAR BOMB's video for "Centralia" track "M^6" can be viewed below. The clip was shot in New York with Jeremy Jackson of the Filmcore crew (UNEARTH, CANNIBAL CORPSE, AS I LAY DYING, BRIAN POSEHN) and was the first from the band's Relapse debut, which came out in February 2007.
